Quiet Sunset Hike on the Great Wall 🌅

The trail was quiet, the views were stunning, and the entire experience felt serene and personal. 📍Location: Great Wall of China - Jinshanling Section 🗒️ Itinerary Overview: • 1200 Depart Beijing (private transfer) • 1330 Have lunch nearby the Jinshanling East Gate entrance • 1430 Begin hike up (moderate climb, approximately 1 hour) • 1530 Walk from Jinshanling East Gate to Jinshanling Central Gate (approximately 2-3 hours) • 1800 Begin descent to Jinshanling Central Gate • 1830 Return to Beijing (private transfer) 💡Tips: • Wear proper hiking shoes 🥾 (sections of the wall can be very steep, so shoes with good grip is a must!) • Bring enough drinking water for the journey 💦 (there may be a few local vendors along the hike but items may be overpriced) • Check the sunset time beforehand and plan your journey accordingly ⏰ (it is recommended to start your hike at least 3 hours before sunset)
