Macao 2-Day Tour Itinerary Sharing (Part 2)——Experience a Different Macao

Day 2▶️Macau Fortress—Nezha Temple—Fashionable Toy Store—Guanqian Main Street—St. Anthony’s Church—Fire Station Museum—Fulong New Street—October 5th Street 1️⃣🍽️Drink coffee in the hotel room for breakfast. The hotel provides a capsule coffee machine. The coffee brewed is fragrant and a little bitter. The taste is very pure and not astringent. [Tiptop] ⬇️ 2️⃣🚌Exit from the hotel main entrance/side door towards Hongdi Building and go across If you take bus 26A/25/…, you can check the bus to Avenida de Almeida Ribeiro Station (Wing Hang Station/Overseas Chinese Station…) on the platform. Remember to press the bell before getting off, otherwise the driver will not stop. ⬇️ 3️⃣♟️The Grand Fortress. After getting off the bus, walk along the cannon tower alley and challenge the big slope. The Grand Canal is a super long and steep slope, which is great for taking photos. ⬇️ 4️⃣🪷Nezha Temple. Come out of the main gate of the fort and walk down to the right, you can directly reach the right side of the Ruins of St. Paul's. Walk further to its left and you will reach the Nezha Temple. There is also a small Nezha Temple Museum next to it. ⬇️ 5️⃣🏛️Walking down from the Nezha Temple, there is a great angle to take pictures of the Grand Lisboa, and people look great in the frame too. ⬇️ 6️⃣🪀Trendy toy store. There is a trendy toy store next to the Ruins of St. Paul's, where you can find second-hand and currently popular toys from Europe, America, Japan and South Korea. ⬇️ 7️⃣🛍️Shopping. If you want to buy nice and affordable clothes, you can go to Xinmalu (Banzhangtang Street, Datang District), where there is a chain of affordable clothing stores. You can sometimes find good things if you go in and have a look (before buying, you can compare the prices on Pinduoduo and Taobao). ⬇️ 8️⃣🚶🏻‍♀️Shopping. Then walk along "Yingying Street" to "Guanqian Main Street". "Yingying Street" will pass by a wall with the word "Macau" on it, where you can check in and take photos. Guanqian Main Street is also quite famous. There are many snack bars and specialty shops here, which are nice to take photos. Continue towards the "Plaza del Fão" and you can check in at several characteristic buildings, such as "St. Anthony's Church" (one of the three oldest churches in Macau, many Portuguese people hold weddings here, it is worth checking in), "Macau Fire Department Museum" (located at the intersection of Liansheng Street and Jinghu Road, it exhibits antique fire trucks, old fire helmets and other ancient firefighting tools and fire protection knowledge. It is open to the public free of charge from 10:00 to 18:00 every Tuesday to Sunday, no appointment is required, you can go in and visit directly)... ⬇️ 9️⃣🍽️Lunch. Walk to Senado Square (this street market sells many Southeast Asian products, such as fruits, vegetables, coffee, seasonings, etc. There is also a very famous barbecue shop, you can try it if you pass by). Continue walking towards the "Three Lights" direction. I originally wanted to go to "Curry Girl" but I came across it again to take a break (this restaurant is super delicious). We had no choice but to go to "Jun An Long Food" on the nearby "Admiral Jaber Street" and order curry beef brisket soup noodles and soup noodles. The taste is good, the soup is thick, and the beef brisket and tendon are soft and tender. 🚶🏻‍♀️Digest food after eating. Then we walked to "Fulong Xin Street", an ancient street with hundreds of years of history. It was once a "place of fireworks" from the late Qing Dynasty to the beginning of the last century. The upper half of the street was brothels and teahouses, and the lower half was opium dens and restaurants. It was a prosperous place with singing and dancing every night and bright lights. Together with the nearby Furongli and Yian Street, it is known as the "Three Streets of Flower Kingdom". There are still many two-story buildings from the late Qing Dynasty here, with red buildings and blue bricks, but after renovation, the doors and windows are painted green. Today, Rua do Fulong is lined with restaurants and souvenir shops, and is one of the most pedestrian-friendly streets in Macau. 🌟There are many panda-shaped decorations along Fulong Xin Street. Come here to take photos and check in. ⬇️ 🔟🫖Afternoon tea. At a double skin milk shop ("Health Milk Company") near "Fulong Xin Street", I ordered hot almond milk paste [Cute][Cute] The almond flavor is rich and the milk paste is thick and smooth (the milk here is produced by local ranches in Macau). 🥣We had Thai food for dinner. Walking from Fulongxin Street to "October 5th Street", this is a street with strong Chinese and Western cultural characteristics, and the buildings on both sides are colorful. There is also the historic Kang Zhenjun Temple on this street; the Hong Kong drama "Moonlight on the Fifth of October" and the last episode of the Korean drama "Palace" were filmed here. 🌟Went to a restaurant run by an authentic Thai ("Hao Kong Restaurant", it is recommended to call ahead to make reservations. Many locals come to eat here, and you often have to wait in line; if you don't want to wait, you can call to inquire or arrive in advance before business starts. It is usually closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, and sometimes it is hard to predict, so it is best to call to confirm before going). Dinner dishes: marinated raw shrimp, sizzling oyster eggs, minced meat lettuce wraps, shrimp pancakes, seafood Tom Yum Goong soup, sour papaya sea bass, and coconut are all very famous and delicious 😋 Finally, after eating, slowly walk to the Fortune Bus boarding point next to the Emperor Hotel to take the bus back to City of Dreams, and then walk to the Londoner Hotel for about 10 minutes. On the third day, we returned and had dim sum at Tim Ho Wan in the Londoner Hotel for breakfast. There was also a queue here. If you are lucky, you won't have to wait if you arrive early...
