Macau Travel Recommendations

When talking about Macau, many people think of casinos, the Ruins of St. Paul's, or the Venetian. Today, I want to share my experience from my first trip to Macau. First up is the "Macau Tower." This attraction offers views of Macau's three cross-sea bridges, and for those who love extreme sports, you can try bungee jumping here. However, since it closes around 6 PM, you won't be able to see the night view. I bought my ticket from a website, bundled with the figure-eight Ferris wheel ride ticket, which was cheaper than buying on-site. Next is the Ruins of St. Paul's area. I was lucky this time to capture a photo of the Ruins of St. Paul's under maintenance. They thoughtfully placed a curtain so that people taking photos from afar wouldn't notice anything unusual. Then there's the Cotai area. This district is mainly home to major casinos, the airport, and hotels. I was originally looking forward to visiting the "Taipa Grande Viewpoint" near Rua do Cunha, but due to rain, the slope elevator was out of service, so I regrettably missed the view from the top. However, based on the information I found, the viewpoint offers a panoramic view of the entire Cotai area. On the way from the Taipa Grande Viewpoint to Rua do Cunha, you'll pass by the "Taipa Houses-Museum," a row of beautiful Portuguese-style buildings. The rainy, misty atmosphere made it feel like I was in Europe. Speaking of "Rua do Cunha," many people know it for its abundance of food options. I tried a few places and found that many felt like chain stores. The prices weren't cheap, but you can find almost all the local delicacies you want to try in Macau, and the quality is quite consistent. Finally, there are the major "themed casinos," such as The Parisian, The Venetian, and The Londoner. The architecture there is truly magnificent and massive. I recommend visiting these places before leaving Macau. Whether you're looking to shop or just explore, you'll have a great time. You can also take a ride on the figure-eight Ferris wheel to enjoy the view. I suggest buying tickets online in advance, as it's cheaper, and you can even book afternoon tea packages online.
