Must-Visit Christmas Photo Spots in Macau Without Backtracking + Photo Locations

It's that time of year again in Macau, the most comfortable season. In early December, temperatures are generally in the 20s Celsius, perfect weather where short sleeves aren't cold and long sleeves aren't hot—wear whatever you like ☁️ Macau's Christmas decorations are truly amazing for photos!! Today, I've summarized a no-backtracking photo location guide for Christmas in Macau. 1️⃣ MGM Macau Peninsula p2-5 Arrive at the Skywalk Plaza and take the elevator to the second floor. Right at the elevator exit, you’ll see the door facing the central Christmas tree in the Skywalk Plaza. This is a very popular spot, and when crowded, you may need to queue. However, I personally don’t recommend waiting in a long line because the strong backlight is only good for silhouette shots. The spots on p3-4 are on the terrace to the left of the black door frame, side-facing the Christmas tree with excellent lighting! Few people, no queue, and you can shoot freely! 🚕 From MGM Macau Peninsula, you can take the Fortune Bus to MGM Cotai. It’s about a 5-6 minute walk to The Venetian. Opposite MGM Cotai is City of Dreams, which also has Christmas decorations at the entrance and occasionally sprays bubbles 🫧 2️⃣ The Venetian p6-8 After seeing The Venetian’s Christmas tree (which isn’t very big), take the escalator next to the tree up to the second floor, turn left to the terrace, and you can take photos with the Christmas tree! Have your friend shoot from downstairs looking up to capture both the Christmas tree and the Big Ben 🎄 🚕 After shooting at The Venetian, cross the street and walk in the opposite direction of City of Dreams / towards Big Ben to reach The Londoner and The Parisian. 3️⃣ The Londoner / The Parisian p9-10 If you want to photograph the Parisian Eiffel Tower, it’s better to do so at the entrance of The Londoner Macau Sheraton, where you can get portraits with the tower. Just a couple of steps forward from the hotel entrance, you’ll see several rows of railings. For better portraits, try to use the top row of railings (to avoid unflattering upward angles). The large lawn next to Macau Sheraton is also a famous photo spot. 4️⃣ The Londoner / Macau Sheraton Entrance p11-13 Back at the hotel entrance is the famous “one person, one pole” photo spot. The effect looks better at dusk or night when the lights are on compared to the morning.
