Visit the Sacred Reclining Buddha at an Ancient Temple in Mae Rim

🏘 Wat Latthiwan (Phra Non Khon Tan) is a temple under the royal patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Dipangkorn Rasmijoti Mahavajiralongkorn Sirivibulyarajakumar. 🌴 The name 'Latthiwan' translates to 'Palm Forest.' This ancient temple was established in 1760 during the era of Khruba Thammachai or Phra Thammachai Khemarattato. Key highlights and attractions within the temple include: 🏡 The Viharn: The front features a veranda with a five-tiered parasol adorned with swan-shaped spires, glass orbs, flags, and decorative finials shaped like mythical creatures. The gable is intricately carved with floral patterns, and the staircase is flanked by naga-like creatures.
