Malta may be small and quaint, but it holds an allure beyond imagination. Exotic architecture that seems to blend European and Arabian influences, the crystal-clear Mediterranean Sea, and the relaxed demeanor of its people—all of it felt less like a trip and more like a brief stay in another world. Valletta was the heart of Malta. Its narrow, elongated alleys were lined with golden limestone buildings, and the stairways leading to the sky and small balconies added warmth to the city. The view of the Grand Harbor and the blue sea from the Upper Barrakka Gardens was the first breathtaking scene Malta offered. The Blue Lagoon on Comino Island was indescribably clear. Jumping straight off the boat into the water, the emerald depths were so transparent it felt like walking on the sea. It was the most 'dreamlike' moment in Malta. Sliema and St. Julian's were places where the locals' laid-back lifestyle and travelers' excitement coexisted. Walking along the seaside promenade, you’d find a string of cafes and restaurants, and by evening, the sunset would slowly paint the sea. I still remember ending that day with a glass of wine. Malta wasn’t flashy but was special, a small island that left a deep impression. For those who want to take their time and savor the moment, it’s a must-visit destination.
