We visited during early June and found this place enchanting because of the surrounding, which turns almost ethereal once the visiting hours of the castle are over with dusk. The palace which had been the royal abode of the King of Kullu lives up to its traditional grandeur with a touch of homely domesticity. Its a must visit destination and preferably to stay and soak in the peace of the valley overlooking. Food is great as are the staff, helpful and forthcoming. If you are looking for some quite time wrapped up in the caress of nature, do visit Naggar Castle. I wish the environment in this town is left undisturbed by all the disturbing noises and pollution from the city by the touristy crowds.
