Dehong Mangshi | So far, my favorite small town city~~

If I had to recommend a city that's beautiful all year round, I'd definitely suggest Mangshi— a severely underrated border town in Yunnan bursting with Southeast Asian charm. It has numerous concentrated photo spots, delicious food, low prices, and, most importantly, few crowds! 📕 2-Day Itinerary **Day 1**: Shubao Pagoda → Bodhi Street → Bodhi Temple → Xinwanchang → Dai Ethnic Ancient Town **Day 2**: Lanlu Breakfast → Meng Huan Silver Pagoda/Golden Pagoda → Mangshi Little Golden Pagoda → Nongshao Snacks ✅ **Shubao Pagoda** A 200-year-old bodhi tree enveloping a three-story ancient pagoda—a rare sight. ✅ **Bodhi Street** Lined with palm trees, the viral photo spot is near "Mangshi Hotel." Next to it are Bodhi Temple and Wuyun Temple. ✅ **Xinwanchang** Features two "Mangshi" walls—great for daytime photos and nighttime food exploration.
