Visit to a lacquer workshop in Bagan, Myanmar

#MyanmarTrip Bagan in Myanmar is famous for its Buddhist ruins. There are also several other old-fashioned lacquerware workshops that still produce traditional crafts, and they will let you tour the workshops for free! There are lacquerware workshops in the center of Bagan, but many are in the town of Mingabar, about 1km south of there. The guides at the workshops are very friendly and will explain and show you everything about the lacquerware making process, the division of labor, and the materials used. Most workshops have shops attached where you can purchase lacquerware. You can buy it in dollars, and credit cards are also accepted.
