Arimatsu from Nagoya~!

#Overseas travel The 22nd trip to Nagoya is scheduled to visit two afternoon tea places and Arimatsu. We arrive by morning flight and enjoy afternoon tea at 1pm and 3pm. We briefly visit Starbucks Reserve in Suzuka City, Mie Prefecture and arrive in Arimatsu around 8pm. We walk around for about 45 minutes and take pictures. There are no people around at this time, so we can travel comfortably. In March, during our trip to Tokyo, Arimatsu in Nagoya and Tendo Onsen in Yamagata Prefecture were introduced in a travel brochure called Art Japan, so we visited Arimatsu in July and Tendo Onsen in October. Arimatsu, which exudes the atmosphere of a post town from the Edo period, is just a 15-minute train ride from downtown Nagoya, allowing you to travel back in time. The old Tokaido remains intact. It is a short but memorable place with a different feel from Narai-juku, Tsumago-juku, and Magome-juku in the Kisoji area. If you have time, you can use the Kisoji Pass to visit the three places above on the Nakasendo, and there is also Ohi-juku in Yenashi, which is close to Nagoya, and Kusatsu-juku in Kusatsu City if you are in Kyoto. All of these places have an Edo-period atmosphere. I plan to continue visiting the places I found while preparing for Sokyoto and Koedo. August is for Sokyoto in Hyogo Prefecture.
