Okinawa 3-Day 2-Night Trip｜A Healing Journey of Sunshine, Cuisine, and Sea Breeze

This journey began on January 9th. Although Okinawa in winter is a bit chilly, the sunlight remains gentle, and the air carries a faint scent of sea salt. The moment I left Taiwan, I decided: for the next few days, I wouldn’t think about anything, just relax, enjoy good food, gaze at the sea, and savor the experience. 🥢 Day 1｜Arrival・Warming Ramen and an Evening Stroll Arriving in Naha in the evening, the first thing we did after dropping off our luggage was, of course, to find food! We chose "Ramen Kouryu," where the steaming hot broth was especially comforting on a cool night. The melt-in-your-mouth chashu brought an instant sense of happiness 🍜. After eating, we stopped by MaxValu to pick up some milk and late-night snacks. Okinawa’s convenience stores and supermarkets are truly therapeutic—I wanted to take everything home (haha). ☕️ Day 2｜Coffee Aroma, Beach Walks, and Shopping Delights At 9:30 in the morning, we started the day with a hand-brewed coffee at "Aguro Roasting Coffee Shop." The shop was quiet, with sunlight streaming through the windows, making me feel completely healed. Next, we headed to "Naminoue Shrine" and "Naminoue Beach," one of the most accessible beaches in Okinawa’s city area. The white torii gate against the blue sea was as picturesque as a postcard 📸. For lunch, we indulged in a feast at "Yakiniku Motobu Ranch," where the aroma of Okinawan wagyu filled the air, and the beautifully marbled meat was a feast for the eyes and the palate. In the afternoon, we went shopping at "Parco City" and later took a break at "Tully’s Coffee," sipping coffee while watching the sunset over the parking lot—a truly relaxing moment. Taking the bus back to the hotel in the evening, I thought to myself: today’s itinerary was just right—comfortable and fulfilling. 🦞 Day 3｜Seafood, Sunshine, and a Joyful End at American Village The last day had to start with a great meal! At 11:30 in the morning, we went near Tomari Port for seafood. Freshly caught shrimp, octopus, and sashimi left us completely satisfied. In the afternoon, we headed to "American Village," strolling, shopping, and taking photos along the way. The colorful buildings against the blue sky were perfect for photos, and we even explored "Depot Island" by the beach. Eating, drinking, laughing, and walking—it felt like time flew by. This trip didn’t have a packed schedule, which allowed for many small surprises and leisurely moments. ✈️ Conclusion｜A Place I Want to Visit Again This 3-day, 2-night trip to Okinawa was short but thoroughly relaxing. Whether it was the morning coffee, the moments by the sea breeze, or the little joys of picking out souvenirs at the supermarket at night, all of it became precious memories. Next time I visit Okinawa, I’d like to explore more remote islands or perhaps rent an electric car and take my time wandering around. In any case, Okinawa’s sunshine and sea breeze make it a place you’ll want to return to again and again 🌤️.
