Looking for an izakaya without Koreans? 🙋🏻‍♀️ A small izakaya located in a back alley of Kokusai Street! I happened to walk by this place and it looked like an izakaya I had imagined. I had a conversation with people I had never met before and had a toast together! The owner, Mi-chan, is a teacher who teaches the traditional Okinawan instrument, Sanshin, and the regulars are Mi-chan's students, so they are great at singing and playing Sanshin.👍🏻 You don't have to order any side dishes, just have a beer or a glass of Okinawan sake with the otoshi (basic side dish and seat fee).
