The Second Longest Escalator in Japan: Escar Hill Naruto

Escar Hill Naruto is an observation facility for the whirlpools and the Great Naruto Bridge, located in front of the first parking lot of the Naruto National Park. It boasts the largest height difference in the Orient of 34m and a total length of 68m, and it is a tourist escalator that takes you to an observatory where you can overlook Naruto Park. The escalator is fully glazed, allowing you to enjoy the view while riding, offering a thrilling experience. The entrance fee was 400 yen for adults. On a clear day, you can enjoy the best scenic view of Naruto Park, and from the mountaintop observatory, you can see not only the Naruto Strait but also Wakayama and Shodoshima if the weather is good. It is also famous as a location for dramas and variety shows. There was also a shop and a souvenir store on the first floor.
