The deities worshipped are Oasahiko-no-Okami and Sarutahiko-no-Okami. During the reign of Emperor Jimmu, he sowed hemp mulberry seeds in Awa Province, and Ameno-Tatamimi-no-Mikoto, the grandson of Ameno-Tatamimi-no-Mikoto, who developed the area, enshrined Ameno-Tatamimi-no-Mikoto as the guardian deity. 🗺️Highlights of the Shrine ・The large camphor tree, about 800 years old🌳, is magnificent🙌 ・There is the German Bridge and the Spectacles Bridge, which are said to have been built by German soldiers🇩🇪 at the time.
