During my trip to Nasu, I wanted to enjoy a tasty lunch, and after some research, I decided to visit Restaurant Query 🤤 I went there around noon without a reservation, and since it was a weekday, I was able to get in right away! The sauce had a slight kick, which made it even more delicious. 🍽️ Half Galette with Prosciutto and Seasonal Vegetables I had been wanting to try a galette, so I was thrilled to enjoy a larger portion than I expected! The flavors varied depending on the toppings, such as marinated mushrooms and pickles, which was delightful. Cheese is not included by default, but I recommend adding two types of Nasu cheese for an extra 400 yen! 🫘 Lentil Vegetable Stock Soup You can choose between salad and soup, but since the galette already included salad, I opted for the soup. The vegetable broth was rich and flavorful, with just the right amount of saltiness—delicious! 🍽️ Confit of Bone-in Chicken Thigh The main dish of the day offered five options, and I chose the chicken thigh, while my husband went for the Tochigi Yume Pork Herb Roast. We shared both dishes, and the meat was tender. The chicken thigh had a slightly crispy exterior! The tomato sauce paired perfectly with the bread, making it a delightful combination. The roasted vegetables included sweet potatoes, which had a texture and sweetness reminiscent of baked sweet potatoes! 🥄 Nasu Imperial Egg Crème Brûlée The caramel had a slight bitterness that complemented the sweetness perfectly.
