Thrilling activities like luge rides and bungee jumping added excitement to the trip, while relaxing moments at lakeside restaurants made it truly special. At Mount Cook, walking the Hooker Valley Track brought me close to glaciers and snow-capped peaks, leaving me in awe. Tekapo offered a breathtaking highlight with its star-filled night sky. On the North Island, Rotorua's hot springs and Maori cultural experiences were fascinating, and Matamata, home to the Hobbiton movie set, provided an enchanting journey into the world of cinema. Auckland combined the modern vibe of a city with the laid-back charm of its harbor. The greatest allure of traveling in New Zealand was the harmony between nature and people.
