My three-day trip to New Zealand was short but full of unforgettable moments.

#July Travel Support Fund As soon as I arrived in Queenstown on the first day, Lake Wakatipu and the Southern Alps behind it unfolded before my eyes. The clean air and peaceful atmosphere I felt while walking along the lakeside were really great. I took the Skyline Gondola to the observation deck and looked down at the city and the lake, which was like a painting. I enjoyed adventure by riding the luge, and in the evening, I finished the day by tasting New Zealand lamb and wine at a lakeside restaurant. On the second day, I headed to Mount Cook. The scene of Lake Pukaki’s emerald waters and snow-capped mountains was truly overwhelming. As I walked the Hooker Valley Track, crossed the suspension bridge, and saw the eternal snow and glacial lake up close, I felt the grandeur of New Zealand’s nature. I spent the last day in Lake Tekapo. The Church of the Good Shepherd standing against the backdrop of the lake and snow-capped mountains was quiet and beautiful. At night, the sky was filled with stars, worthy of being one of the world’s three major starlight reserves, and it was a moment when all the fatigue from the trip seemed to disappear.
