Fairy Lake: Crossing Mountains to Find the Lake

We rode our horses across a crystal-clear stream, then began a short ascent up the hillside. Suddenly, the guide halted and announced, "We're here!" Yet when we looked around, the rest of our group was nowhere in sight. As it turned out, we were over twenty minutes behind them—the lake and the rest of the party were nestled in the valley below.
