The island kissed by angels

According to the elders, Sandu Island was a common travel destination for Ningde children during their childhood. It is not a popular tourist spot like Gulangyu, nor is it a trendy place for social media check-ins; it is simply a place where the people of Ningde live - a small island brimming with the breath of life. The island is clean and tidy, with courtyards leisurely adorned with flowers and plants, exuding a serene power. Houses are built along the mountain, and as you ascend the steps, you can enjoy the rural scenery and the coastal landscape. Sandu Island used to be a concentrated area for foreign consulates and offices, and to this day, there are still remnants of customs houses and Western-style buildings such as Catholic churches and monasteries. Strolling on the island, surrounded by lush greenery, in the corners where spider webs climb, the light of years is scattered.
