Osaka…🇯🇵 A city that many people often think of as a secondary city. Compared to Tokyo or Kyoto, for me, Osaka is something more special. It is not just a city that is easy to travel to or has delicious food. It is a lively city, full of warmth, friendliness, and fun that you can’t find anywhere else. I remember when I first arrived in Osaka, I was impressed by the public transportation system here. The subway and JR trains are very convenient. The signs are in clear English, so even if you are not good at Japanese, you can travel comfortably. Plus, the ICOCA card I bought can be used to tap easily. You don’t have to worry about buying tickets one at a time, which saves a lot of time. The food is what makes Osaka stick in my heart and will never forget it. The takoyaki here is amazing. The round, hot balls are slightly crispy on the outside. The soft and smooth inside with fresh squid, topped with sweet sauce and mayonnaise, and sprinkled with dancing dried fish. This is a food that you can eat every day without getting tired of it. The okonomiyaki here is even better. The taste is rich and the ingredients are packed. Both pork, shrimp, and fresh vegetables. Eating it makes you feel warm and fuzzy like you are eating home-cooked food made with love. Another place that I really like is Kuromon Market. This is a food lover's paradise. Fresh food, such as raw fish, grilled oysters, and cute Japanese sweets that you want to buy and take home. Walking around and eating, I lost track of time. Osaka people are so lovely. Even though I don't speak Japanese well, everyone tries to help with smiles and gestures. They give directions or explain things in a cute way, making me feel warm and safe. The atmosphere of the city is not too chaotic. It's lively but not stressful. Walking along the Dotonbori or Shinsaibashi pedestrian streets, which are full of lights and laughter, people are lively but orderly, clean, and well-mannered, making walking around fun and relaxing. I like to walk around without a plan in Osaka. Sometimes getting lost a little bit can turn into a fun adventure. I find small coffee shops with the fragrant smell of coffee or cute dessert shops with beautiful decorations. They are like small gifts hidden in every corner of the city. Osaka is not just a tourist city. It is a city that makes me feel like I've come home. I can live a simple life and be filled with small happiness every day. If anyone is wondering where to go in Japan, I would recommend Osaka wholeheartedly because it is full of warmth, delicious food, and people who are ready to turn ordinary days into good memories.
