Osaka Water Bus "Sailboat-type Tourist Boat Santa Maria"

We boarded the "Santa Maria," a sailing ship operated by the "Osaka Water Bus" that departs from Tempozan Harbor Village. The Santa Maria is a restored tourist ship that is about twice the size of the "Santa Maria" that "Columbus" sailed on the seas. The day cruise costs 1,600 yen for adults and 800 yen for children. The interior was decorated with objects related to Columbus, making it a tourist ship that both adults and children could enjoy. Usually, we only have the opportunity to see the city from land, but the pleasure of seeing the scenery of Osaka from the sea is something special.
