Musée de Montmartre 🇫🇷

#paristrip Montmartre Museum - a lovely art place that I fell in love with during my 2023 trip to Paris! 🎨💖 The cost to get in was 12 euros - a cheap price for the fun trip through Montmartre's artsy past. The museum is in two old, interesting buildings with lots of personality. When I first entered, it was like being taken to the lively and artful days of early 1900s Montmartre. 🏰🖌️ The studios of famous artists like Suzanne Valadon and Maurice Utrillo have been kept safe. This lets us see close up their spaces where they made art. It's like walking in the tracks of art greats. 🎨🏠 The group of pictures, statues and things all together shows the fun-loving side that was popular in Montmartre. The parts aren't just art; they tell an interesting story about the neighborhood in a picture way. 📜🍷 The city views from the museum's terrace are amazing - you can see Place du Tertre and other parts of the city. I spent some time just taking in the creative energy of Montmartre. 🏰🌆 As I walked around the small streets, I found cute little cafes and street artists. It's like the Belle Époque spirit is still going strong in every place. ☕🎭 Not far away is the Sacré-Cœur Basilica - a beautiful work of art on top of Butte Montmartre. The walk is a little hard, but the big views make it good for every step. 🕍🌇 Pro tip: Get a coffee or crepe from the nearby cafe and enjoy it on museum steps.
