Just under three hours from Singapore, we arrived during low tide and crossed a sandbank to reach the island’s iconic stone arch—Heaven’s Gate. The turquoise waters shimmered under the sun, and the famous mangrove “Insta-tree” stood quietly in the shallows, perfect for photos. A short forest hike led us to dramatic coastal views, with ropes guiding the way. We picnicked on the beach, surrounded by nature’s calm and the sound of waves.
