Wat Phra Mahathat Woramahawihan, located on Ratchadamnoen Road in Nakhon Si Thammarat, is known as one of the most important temples in southern Thailand. Also, on Makha Bucha Day, a ceremony is held in which the pagoda is wrapped in cloth, and it is believed that participants' wishes will come true. I felt like my heart was purified by being able to experience this sacred ritual. There are other beautiful buildings scattered around the temple, such as Wihan Kian and Wihan Samchom, and you can feel the history and culture as you walk around.
