A Revitalized Experience at Intercontinental Phuket

Wow. What an outstanding place with a phenomenal staff. I usually don't leave a review until my stay is complete, but I feel compelled to share about this experience. I visited this hotel last year and didn't give it high marks. There were maintenance problems with our villa, and the check-in experience was dreadful. This was unusual for Thailand, where the locals are typically the most polite and customer-focused I've encountered. Last year, at departure, one of the managers expressed that my experience was uncommon and encouraged me to give them another chance. I did, and wow, what a change. Well done, Intercontinental Phuket. The check-in was superb, conducted flawlessly in the club lounge. Why they didn’t do this last year is beyond me. Nonetheless, the front desk seems better managed now. Arriving feels like being at a special hotel rather than an ordinary business hotel you find in any city. It’s noticeable and expertly done. The villa is immaculate, and the upgraded decking area in the pool access villas has made a significant difference. The villa is spotless, exuding charm and luxury. Having spent quite a bit of time in IC hotels before, this experience places IC at the top of my list again. The beach area is fantastic, and unlike many hotels in Phuket, you’re right on the beach. The hotel's architecture is stunning, just as you see on various YouTube videos; it's truly spectacular. At the heart of all this excellence is the club lounge. It has to be one of the best worldwide. The team is impeccable and offers hospitality at a level I haven't experienced in quite some time. They truly excel. Book a club room, and you won't be disappointed. I'm so glad I returned here; missing out would have been a loss. I will definitely come back. Thank you to the whole team for making my week unforgettable.
