Sunset Views at Homigot Sunrise Square in Pohang

Located at 136 Haemaji-ro, Daebo-ri, Homigot-myeon, Nam-gu, Pohang-si, Gyeongsangbuk-do, Homigot Sunrise Square is a coastal park famous nationwide for its iconic 'Hand of Harmony' sculpture. While it's better known as a sunrise spot, I recently visited to enjoy the ocean view at sunset 😊 As the sun set, the sky and sea turned a brilliant red, creating a scene straight out of a movie. The long shadows of the sculpture stretching over the water were unforgettable. Strolling along the coastal trail, I also enjoyed exploring the lighthouse museum and other commemorative sculptures on display. The tranquil atmosphere was soothing and calming. The park is well-equipped with basic amenities like showers and free parking. Sitting by the sea to watch the sunset and then walking under the moonlight was a delightful experience.
