Potato Chip Rock, one of the most photogenic hiking spots in San Diego

💕Potato Chip Rock was named one of National Geographic's "Top 10 Most Creative Photography Locations in the World." How you capture the shot depends entirely on your imagination and composition! If it weren't for everyone lining up to check in, I could have gotten even more creative! Hahaha 😂 💕Started around 8:20 AM from Lake Poway Park. The trail isn't too difficult, and going early means less sun exposure. The round trip takes just over 4 hours, which I personally found quite easy! 💕There are portable toilets, trash bins, and tables and chairs to rest at during the first half of the hike! ⚠️Bring enough water (2-3 bottles), snacks or other supplies, hiking shoes (non-slip), and sunscreen. 📍Parking: Lake Poway Park, $10 parking fee on weekends. 📍Follow the signs for MT. Woodson Summit to get to Potato Chip Rock.
