A Custom Peruvian Journey Full of Beauty and Authenticity

Four of us, two couples from France, embarked on a tailor-made trip organized by Cristian that took us from Lima to Machu Picchu, including Arequipa, Puno, the Altiplano, Cusco, Lake Titicaca, and sites like Chincho, Moray, Piuray, the stunning Maras salt flats, Ollantaytambo, and more. While the undeniable charm and beauty of Peru—and Cristian’s expert knowledge of its history, traditions, and culture—impressed us greatly, what stood out most was the authenticity of the journey he crafted. Cristian introduced us to life among locals, with stays in their homes, and seamlessly adapted to the unexpected (and delightful!) surprises travel often brings. For instance, crossing the Altiplano via a public bus, stumbling upon a remarkably vibrant market celebrating "Food Education Day," and playing a memorable card game (seven families) with a local family in Piuray.
