The bathroom’s large floor-to-ceiling window is so romantic; when the shutters adjust the light, shadows flow, and the scent of sandalwood bath products mixed with sunlight fills the air, creating a fully healing atmosphere. Days here make you not want to rush your itinerary at all: Woken up by breakfast delivered to the room in the early morning, with local vermicelli soup and fried rice cakes, slowly enjoyed in the balcony morning light; In the afternoon, join the free flower hairpin experience in the public area—no need to go to Xunpu to get a garden on your head; In the evening, grab a free electric scooter from the homestay, rush to the Guandi Temple in 5 minutes, and on the way back buy a Kunji taro cake downstairs for a late-night snack. Rainy days are even cozier, staying in the room watching projections, listening to raindrops hitting the balcony plants, with soundproofing so good you can’t hear the street noise at all. When leaving, the housekeeper helped me carry my luggage to the car, and the trunk was filled with a bag of local longan. Looking back, sunlight was shining through the homestay’s floor-to-ceiling windows, warmly coloring the “Wulan” sign.
