Pantheon Rome

The Pantheon, one of the wonders of ancient Roman architecture, has been in Rome for over 2,000 years. It was built to house the Roman gods. Inside, the patterns of the stone pillars in the cathedral are beautiful. Under the dome, it is 44 meters wide. There is a round hole in the middle of the top to let light shine inside. There are 16 granite columns to support the triangular pediment in front of the cathedral. Currently, the Pantheon is used as a church.
