Red Army Review Platform

The Red Army Review Platform was built for the review of the Red Army in preparation for the First National Congress of the Chinese Soviet Republic. On the morning of November 7, 1931, before the opening of the All-Soviet Congress, a military parade was held here, and leaders such as Mao Zedong and Zhu De reviewed the Red Army. On the 19th, the Congress awarded the Red Army units and commanders who had made meritorious contributions in previous battles, and awarded a red flag to the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 6th, 7th, 10th, 12th, and 16th Armies and the 3rd Army Corps, and awarded medals to eight commanders including Mao Zedong, Zhu De, and Peng Dehuai. Since then, the platform has been used as a venue for rallies, speeches, and cultural performances. In October 1934, after the main force of the Red Army embarked on the Long March, the Red Army Review Platform was demolished by the Kuomintang reactionaries, leaving only the ruins. In 1955, the state restored the platform to its original appearance, and on March 4, 1961, it was announced by the State Council as a national key cultural relic protection unit. The Lenin Platform is an important attraction in the Ruijin Yeping Scenic Area, bearing profound historical significance. It is not only an open-air platform of the year, but also an important venue for rallies and cultural performances. Some of the facilities of the year are still preserved on the platform. ⏳Visiting time: The entrance fee is CNY 30, and there is a sightseeing bus from the entrance to the scenic spot. The visiting time is 20–30 minutes.
