Neuschwanstein Castle

We took a train from Munich to Fussen, and then a public bus from Fussen. We had a reservation to visit the castle after 11am, but there were few buses from Fussen, so we had to take a shuttle bus or a horse-drawn carriage from the town at the foot of the mountain to get to the castle, but we were running out of time, so we chose the shuttle bus. (The horse-drawn carriages are very slow.) Even after getting off the shuttle bus, we had a hard time getting to the entrance of the castle, as we had to go up and down hills. We arrived at the shuttle bus stop 30 minutes early, but because the departure time was unclear, we were a few minutes late for our reservation. They put us off for the next bus at the entrance to the castle, so we were able to see it without any problems, but I recommend getting to the foot of the mountain at least an hour before. #AutumnTrip #Germany #CastleTour #AmazingView
