The Seoul Museum, which I visited this time, has a basic admission fee of 4,000 won, but it exhibits diverse and deep works of art that are definitely worth the price. "Ai Weiwei: Human Future", which I visited this time, introduces the artistic world of Ai Weiwei, who is active in all areas, including film, installation, architecture, public art, exhibition planning, and publishing. Ai Weiwei established his own perspective on modern art while coming into contact with works by Marcel Duchamp, Andy Warhol, and Jasper Johns while staying in New York. After that, he participated in the formation of the Beijing Caochangdi Art Village and the Beijing National Stadium Project, the Beijing Olympic Stadium. In 2008, when the Sichuan earthquake occurred, he recruited volunteers online and formed a 'citizen investigation team' to record the total number of casualties and the names of the victims. Currently, he is unable to work in China, so he is staying in Europe and presenting various works on the theme of refugees.
