Hangang River Picnic Review – Simple but Super Fun I’ve been to picnic along the Han River in Seoul many times. I must say that it’s a heart-stopping trip because the atmosphere is so relaxing. You don’t have to organize much and it’s already beautiful. 🎯 Popular Picnic Spots • Yeouido Hangang Park – Walk out of Yeouinaru Station and you’ll arrive in just a few minutes. This place has a wide area, perfect for laying down and enjoying the cool breeze in the evening and at night.  • Banpo / Ttukseom / Mangwon – Each place has its own unique charm. Some places have small cafes or places to see the Rainbow Bridge.  🧺 Things to bring / rent • Mats or tables, chairs, and small tents can be rented from roadside shops near the station or Trazy shops for free.  • Tip: Some shops have LED lights or lanterns for rent. If you come in the evening, you’ll get great photos. Or you can put your iPhone flash in a water bottle instead! 🍗 Food • Order free delivery to the “Delivery Zone”, such as fried chicken, tteokbokki, hamburgers • Or buy it yourself from a convenience store in the park, such as porridge, ramen, etc. ⌛ Recommended time • If you come in the morning, you will meet the morning, not many people, chill • If you come in the evening, arrange around 4-5 pm to watch the sunset and the Bridge lights turn on.  🏙️ The best peak • Banpo Bridge has a Rainbow Fountain show from April to October, several times a day, free, and very popular.  • The nighttime feeling when the lights are on is very chill.
