🇰🇷🪼 I’ve Never Seen an Exhibition Like This in Seoul

I randomly found one of the cutest exhibitions in Seoul — and it feels like stepping into an underwater dream. Zero Gravity is a solo exhibition by London-based artist Yulia Iosilzon at Foundry Seoul. The first thing that caught my eye was the giant floating fabric sculptures. They look somewhere between jellyfish, flowers and imaginary sea creatures, gently hanging above the gallery. But the exhibition is more than just cute. Iosilzon explores the idea of metamorphosis, mixing references from mythology, nature and childhood imagery. Paintings on translucent fabric, ceramic works and these new suspended sculptures all blur the boundaries between land, ocean, sky and imaginary worlds. What I loved most was how different every corner felt. From a distance, the floating pieces almost look alive, while the small ceramic works have so many tiny details and unusual textures. It’s playful, slightly surreal, and honestly unlike most exhibitions I’ve seen in Seoul. And the best part? Admission is free. 📍 Foundry Seoul, Hannam / Itaewon 🎨 Yulia Iosilzon — Zero Gravity 📅 Aug 22 – Oct 3, 2026 ⏰ Tue–Sat, 10 AM–6 PM 🚫 Closed Sunday & Monday 💰 Free admission If you’re looking for a less obvious art stop in Seoul, especially during Seoul Art Week season, save this one. The jellyfish-like sculptures alone are worth seeing in person. 🪼✨ #foundryseoul #zerogravity #yuliaiosilzon #seoulexhibition #seoulart #hannamdong #seoulgallery #seoultravel #koreatravel #thingstodoinseoul #contemporaryart
