Phoenix Mountain is so fun! It has everything from praying, hiking, and river tracing.

Phoenix Mountain Forest Park (with the Fengyan Ancient Temple inside) is located in Fuyong Street, Bao'an District. I heard it's famous for praying for love and finding love, so I took advantage of this weekend to hike up the mountain and check in! 🕖 The total visit takes about 4 hours. 🚏 Transportation: 1⃣️ Take Metro Line 11 to Exit B at Tangwei, then transfer to Bus M284 to the foot of Phoenix Mountain. 2⃣️ However, the bus ride can take over half an hour. I took a taxi from the subway on the way there and took the bus to the subway station on the way back. The one-way taxi fare was under 20 yuan. 👟 Equipment: 1⃣️ Phoenix Mountain isn't very physically demanding, but it's mostly stairs and cobblestone paths, so remember to wear sportswear, sneakers, or athletic sandals. River tracing is more fun (jeans, flip-flops, etc., no need!). 2⃣️ Wear sunscreen. Bring: Sun hat and sun-protective clothing (don't wear a hat while praying). 3⃣️Other basic hydration options include water, cucumbers, and other essentials. There are plenty of shops and hot water outlets on the mountain, so bring your own cup. 4⃣️ Bring some coins to drop into the turtle pond and make a wish. 🥡Supplies: 1⃣️ Incense is sold at the foot of the mountain, 5 yuan for a small bag (about 20 sticks). Incense is also sold at the top of the mountain, starting at 3 yuan for 3 sticks. It's cheaper at the bottom, or you can bring your own. 2⃣️ At the bottom of the mountain, there's also fishing nets, buckets, and other supplies for river tracing, as well as sun hats. Supplies are plentiful. Purchase as needed; I didn't buy anything else except the incense. ⛰Route: 1⃣️ To the right of the large "Phoenix Mountain" stone monument is the closest and fastest hiking trail, estimated to take about half an hour. 2⃣️ A little further to the right is the river tracing trail and the winding mountain road. 3⃣️ You can ascend the mountain as quickly as possible, then take your time descending the stream. (The water upstream should be clean.) 🙆🏻‍♀️ Praying/Enjoying: 1⃣️ The Buddha's Light, Turtle Pond, Fengyan Ancient Temple, Marriage Tree, Wishing Corridor, and Earth God are all quite visible and easy to spot. I didn't see anyone asking for fortune sticks, so I was careless. 😭 2⃣️ Wishing plaques are available for sale near the Marriage Tree and in the Wishing Corridor, priced at NT$30 and NT$25. There are also desks and markers for writing. 3⃣️ Wishing plaques must be hung in the Wishing Corridor. There are small stools at the bottom for visitors to climb onto. If you hang them elsewhere, they may be cut off by the staff. But I still died two times 😬 ⛰Other: 1⃣️ Going up the Wishing Corridor, you'll reach the second trail. After about 20 minutes, you'll see another beautiful view (with large rocks). 2⃣️ The way down includes a winding road and a river tracing trail. The third river tracing trail is more fun, with many families and children enjoying it. There's also a fortune teller along the way... I hope everyone enjoys their time at Phoenix Mountain.
