Shenzhen Xiantan Stone Pot Fish

Weekend treat for office workers in Bantian Vanke! I had a taste of their fish soup and I highly recommend it to all fish lovers. I've heard their fish is freshly prepared upon order. I chose their signature Jiang Tuan fish, which was incredibly tender and smooth. The whole fish is cooked in the pot, and the resulting soup is a milky white and crystal clear—just looking at it makes you want to drink it. The accompanying corn pieces become sweeter the longer they cook, while the red dates and goji berries add a natural sweetness. I also ordered the unique purple yam slices, which have a soft texture and soak up all the essence of the soup, offering a fresh and slightly sweet taste. For dessert, I tried their newly introduced Bubur Cha Cha. It was amazing! The coconut milk was rich and fragrant, and the bread slices, soaked until soft and full of flavor, paired perfectly with fresh fruit chunks for a refreshing finish.
