Quaint Onsen Town Tucked Away in Niigata City

Spent a few days in Niigata City and stayed at Tsukioka Onsen Mashu. The service staff made me feel right at home, and the meals were a highlight on their own. Every dish was beautifully prepared and packed with local flavours. Unlike the bigger cities, people here are incredibly warm and laid-back. It’s where countryside charm meets small city life. Everything feels a little slower, in the best way possible. Pro tip: rent a car, the sights are worth the drive Also… rice lovers and sake fans, this is your happy place. 🥂🍚
