The cliffs are 50 meters high and stretch approximately 2 kilometers long. The sight of giant waves crashing against the rocks is truly awe-inspiring! You can take an elevator down to the caves, where you'll feel as if the roaring waves are within arm's reach. Besides enjoying the stunning sea views from above, the Sandanbeki Visitor Center offers a paid ticket option to explore the lower levels of the cliffs. 🗺️ Sandanbeki is usually part of a trip to Shirahama, often starting from Osaka. If you're traveling extensively within the Kansai region, it's highly recommended to purchase the JR Kansai Wide Area 5-Day Pass, which costs around 600 RMB. This pass allows unlimited rides on JR trains, including both unreserved and reserved seats, making it a great value. 🚅 I traveled from Wakayama on the Kuroshio Limited Express.
