First of all, my favorite thing about Onjuku Yuinosho is that you put your shoes in the shoe locker as soon as you enter! You don't have to bring dirty shoes into your room in Shirakawa Village, which gets a lot of snow. When I checked in, I was given information about recommended spots in the area and nearby supermarkets! The building is divided into three parts, all connected. There are rooms, hot springs, and a restaurant, and they serve you Yonaki Ramen at night. When you enter your room, you can see the snowy scenery from the window facing the river, and it was sparkling and beautiful. The snack that came with it was chestnut kinton! The tatami room had a bed, so the foreigner who came with me also liked it. I stayed for two nights, so I had a different breakfast. The Takama miso was delicious! They brought the food to my semi-private room, but there was also a menu that I could choose from, and they also gave me something in English. There is a free bus from the hotel to Shirakawa-mura, which is very convenient! The hot spring also has a family bath, and you can use it whenever it's available without making a reservation!
