Qingjing mosque in Quanzhou

#discoverchina Dating back to 1009, this Arab-style mosque is one of the oldest in China and speaks to the large Arab community that used to be active in Quanzhou in its old days as a trading hub. The stone facade is grand and impressive, and the grounds are fairly large. Drop in for a guided tour if you can make it! Interestingly, there is also a Chinese-style inner temple and there are signages and inscriptions inside in both Arabic and Chinese.
