Please make sure to book Ushan—he truly made our holiday unforgettable. He is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about his country. Ushan is not just a driver but an amazing guide who catered to our every need, even having a fresh bottle of water ready for us in the car after hot walks around temples. His car is very comfortable, with excellent air conditioning. Ushan had everything meticulously organized, with tickets for all our activities pre-purchased so we didn’t have to queue. His English is outstanding, and we had great conversations during our two-week tour. By the end of the trip, Ushan had become a genuine friend, and we were genuinely sad to leave him. We traveled extensively in Sri Lanka with Ushan, visiting places like Sigiriya, the Elephant Freedom Project, temples, two national parks, the famous train to Ella, Galle Fort, and enjoying local cuisine at spots Ushan expertly recommended. We hope to return one day, and having Ushan by our side again is a must—he’s truly one of the nicest people we’ve ever met.
