You can have a picnic on the well lawned grass or fly a kite there. I did some cycling along the waterway to explore and admire the area and it is simply amazing and fills me with awe at what Singapore has accomplished. You can easily assess it from gardens by the bay MRT station. Highly recommend for days with good weather and you just want somewhere to chill at.
