Hidden gem in the East

Le petite Paris is located at the East (Swan Lake Avenue) and truly is a hidden gem! I was surprised that this place has been around for so many years and yet it was my first time trying this. It’s a very small and cozy restaurant, feels like I’m dining in France. The chef here is from France and all his cooking is authentic. He is so friendly that he came out to chit chat with us. Food was really delicious here, their duck confit here is very special! Not your usual kind of duck confit, it feels more like shepherds pie. The duck was baked in the mashed potato and you don’t even need knife to eat this dish, taste really delicious, and healthier too! I love their ratatouille! Though the presentation of this dish was ordinary, but it’s so flavourful!! The prawn was so fresh and well seasoned. The pasta was alright, not the highlight of the meal. Desserts were mind blowing!! I love the croissant and Hokkaido milk ice cream, the crossiant is so crispy and ice cream was silky. Must get their lava cake, that’s the best!! It came with a smoked vanilla ice cream, feels like eating bacon but not really.
