An autumn viewing hiking adventure at Ulsanbawi near Seoraksan

#hikingtrails #100waysoftravel It is autumn season and there are many great spots to view the autumn foliages, especially mountain areas. As such, I went to Seoraksan mountain area to hike the Ulsanbawi trail, which is one of the most challenging trail there. It comprises six granite peaks making up the spectacular view on top. You start your journey at Sinheungsa temple, and you hike along the forest trail with very nice maple leaves, and the challenging part arrives where there is a series of stairway to hike the rocky cliffs, and towards the end you need to use the rope to hike the rocks to reach the top. Finally there will be only stairs and platform for you to walk and the view is stunningly beautiful with the foliages at the background, which worth the strenuous hike.
