Diocletian’s Palace: Split

At the centre of the old town of Split are the remains of Emperor Diocletian’s palace. Today people are living in what was once a Roman Emperor‘spalace. Below in what was once the cellers there is now a market. The whole old town is like an open air museum that’s free to enter. There are companies offering regular coach services from Zagreb to Split, the journey time is approximately 5 1/2 hours. #getgoing2025 #split #dalmatia #croatia
