The hottest cultural landmark in Taichung: Audit Village

#MarchGoodPlaces2025 Audit Village was originally the dormitory for employees of the Audit Department of the Taiwan Provincial Government. After the province was frozen in 1998, it became an idle space and was abandoned for many years. The government has planned to transform the Audit Village into a youth entrepreneurship base. The transformed "Audit Village" still retains its early architectural style. Most of the buildings in the park are two-story low houses with walls painted in a gentle goose yellow color and square window shapes, exuding a retro and warm atmosphere. Audit Village is currently the most popular attraction for a one-day tour in Taichung. It has a hipster atmosphere, a cute cultural and creative market, and countless desserts and delicacies. There are egg cakes in various flavors, a puff house with cute Moai statues with puff heads at the door, an old coffee shop, and a small shop full of cultural and creative items...
