Evergreen Laurel Hotel, a five-star chain under the Evergreen Group, has several locations across Taiwan. This time, we stayed at the Taichung branch located on Taiwan Boulevard. The hotel boasts a grand Chinese-style design, exuding an impressive aura. Although it shows some signs of aging, its facade remains elegant and dignified. As expected of a star-rated hotel, the price is on the higher side. The deluxe double room is approximately 6 pings in size, featuring somewhat old-fashioned decor but still comfortable and clean. A weekday stay for two, including breakfast, costs NT$3,856. The breakfast quality is decent. The Taichung Evergreen Laurel Hotel is conveniently located near Jingming Road and Jingcheng Road, surrounded by numerous restaurants and stylish cafes. It offers a tranquil yet accessible accommodation option amidst the bustling city.
