A must-try Japanese restaurant in Ximending with a long history🍣Meishanyuan

Finally got to eat at Meiguanyuan 🎉🎉 Meiguanyuan in Ximending has a long history, dating back to the post-WWII era, almost sixty years ago. I've passed by Ximending countless times but never once tried it. 😂🤣 I finally got to check it out today ❗ The restaurant was packed with customers, and they had plenty of seating. I think it was smart to be prepared; they knew every table would be full during dinner time, so they had already planned plenty of seating. The restaurant serves Taiwanese-Japanese cuisine. The menu is incredibly diverse, with over 300 dishes. It's so impressive, it's often difficult to choose. ❗ My husband, Xiaoyun, a seafood lover, ordered his favorite sea urchin donburi. ✔️ Havingn't had eel rice in years, I immediately ordered the kabayaki eel. ✔️ Each meal comes with a bowl of miso soup and hot tea. 😋 For some reason, they also offer a side dish (edamame and fish).
