Tallinn Zoo - Estonia

Do you remember? When was the last time you went to the zoo? For me it is a long time ago.. Till I can't remember my age at that moment LOL :D The Tallinn zoo is far from the old town, about 15–20 minutes (I took the bus) and the entrance fee is quite cheap, it is about 8–9 euros, but in summer, maybe a bit higher. But today I tried to go to Tallinn zoo in winter even though it was weird :D A must-see at Tallinn zoo. I think it is the Polar bear. Maybe a superstar in the zoo, the polar bear there, has 3 bears. It's so cute and obviously playful. Jumped to my favorite one, which is the Corsac Fox. It's very cute and so nice to me. I think you shouldn't miss seeing it. And the next one that I think is pretty cool in the zoo is the tiger cage that is above ground and connects to other sub-cages. This is just some of this Tallinn zoo that I was spending time 2–3 hours there. If you have the opportunity to go to Tallinn, it is a must! Thanks a lot for reading. Bye! Anyway, you have another option to pay smart and worth! I'd like to recommend a Tallinn card to travel because it's quite worth it, for a small city to get around, like Tallinn, where you spend 2 or 3 nights to deeply enjoy Tallinn. The Tallinn cards there were 3 types, such as 24 (€43), 48 (€63) and 72 (€76) hours. You can use the card for free entrance to almost all museums or attractions, which also includes tram, bus and trolley-bus, and get a discount from restaurants and shops. (to be honest, I'm not a sponsor, but it's really good). #travel#trip

III Draakon

Tallinn, the enchanting capital of Estonia, feels like it’s been plucked straight out of a storybook. Its beautifully preserved Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a maze of cobblestone streets, Gothic spires, and centuries-old buildings that instantly transport you back in time. Iconic sights like the majestic Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, the medieval walls of Toompea Castle, and the panoramic views from Kohtuotsa viewing platform are just the beginning of what this city has to offer. But visiting Tallinn in winter adds a whole new layer of magic. Every year, the Town Hall Square hosts one of Europe’s most charming Christmas markets. Picture a dazzling Christmas tree (a tradition that dates back to 1441), wooden stalls selling hand-crafted gifts, the comforting scent of roasted almonds and mulled wine, and snowflakes gently falling over it all—it’s truly unforgettable. One of my favorite experiences during my trip was at the tavern III Draakon, tucked right inside the old Town Hall building. This medieval-themed eatery offers more than just a meal—it’s a journey through time. Lit by candlelight and filled with rustic decor, it felt like stepping into a 15th-century feast. I tried their famous elk soup and traditional meat pies, served by staff dressed in period costumes. It was hearty, flavorful, and totally authentic—definitely a highlight of my visit. If you’re dreaming of a destination that blends history, culture, and festive wonder, Tallinn should be at the top of your list—especially during the Christmas season.
